Cambridge is called Cambridge because it’s a bridge over the river Cam. Surely that’s reason enough to go to the original, not the copy/paste namesake!
Likewise Oxford, Bath, Moorgate, Knightsbridge, etc BTW – come to the UK whilst it still exists and see the originals whose names have context!

It might take a slightly higher velocity / closer approach for the slingshot, but if you could alter your initial trajectory to head for ~NW of New York you should just about make it across the Atlantic to Dublin, en route to England, and thereby kick off the now inevitable European tour …

“Cambridge is called Cambridge because it’s a bridge over the river Cam”
Actually, the river was originally (and still is for part of its length) the Granta but it became the Cam after the name of the town drifted. So it’s more “The River Cam is called the River Cam because it runs through the town of Cambridge”.

Hey man, congrats on the tour. How about: instead of catering to the whims of the global community, you could just produce a set of podcasts or dvds of every session… It results in more money for you, and more what-ifs for international viewers… (Besides, Perth is clearly the greatest city in Australia – ignore the rest.)

Well, how about coming to Europe? Germany would be especially great, but anywhere on this continent would be fine already. Of course, there may be dragons, but that’s a risk you should take in order to meet your fans over here!

If anything should be noted, the “Big Apple” mass is much igher than taken into account in your drawing. The current expected trajectory is direct drift around to be send back with high acceleration toward Europe. Being there, Paris, Toulouse, Madrid and Rome are obvious suggestions (2 times in France so you can confirm frensh food is wayyyy better). Then it’s probably a good time to visit Munich/Germamy since any joke slightly related to the world cup will end-up in gaining few round of good beer.

I live in what it appears we now call “Original England” but by chance it happens that I shall be visiting New York for the first time in my life this September. Unfortunately by the time I get there you’ll be in California. I shall have to be content with the fact that out lives have intersected spatially as well as chronologically, just not both at the same time.

You should come to Prague. It’s right* in the middle of Europe which would minimize the average visitors’ travel expenditures if you decided to add just one more behind-the-great-water step to your itinerary.
I am definitely not asking because I happen to live there.
