I’ve been watching since the early days, and I can’t tell you how happy I am for the two of you to hear such great news! Oddly enough, my Captcha for this is “ancient lovedT”. 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever posted a comment here before, but I wanted to stop by and say congratulations. This is wonderful news, especially after the year you two have had.
Congrats! Just remember that’s not supposed to be easy but it supposed to be good and remember to tell each other ” I love you” every day (especially on those – rare – days when you can’t remember why).
I’m guilty of rarely checking the blag & going straight to the comics. So glad I stopped by today 🙂 Congratulations to you and best wishes to your wife!!
(Just to check if it is a widely recognized tradition (We Scandinavians do have some weird traditions) I looked up “Throwing rice” on Wikipedia. It redirected to “Wedding”, but that page didn’t contain the word rice. The page about “Rice” did though – including a reference to ask.yahoo. According to them you throw eggs at the newlyweds in some parts of Europe, and in Ireland they used to throw pots and pans! Ouch!)
Marriage is the hardest and the best thing I’ve ever done (maybe second to having a baby, but I actually think the marriage requires more work). Congratulations and good luck!
I tried thinking about a regular expression to grab all text of the comments above and paste it down here, but it turns out that I’m too lazy even to use regexp. So I’ll limit myself to
Much happiness to you both!
