  22. Since I’ve never met you or had a conversation with you, I’m surprised that this post makes me so happy. I’ve followed your comics since freshman year of college, sharing them with anyone who would listen…that was 6 years ago, and I’ve never felt the need to post a comment. But reading this made my whole heart happy.

    I recently was privileged to witness an old grandma with a young bride. Said granny, “Do you know, that in the whole history of the world, no one has ever loved as much as you love?”
    My friend the bride laughed, in that polite, old-ladies-aren’t-all-there kind of way.
    But grandma must have known she was just being humored, because she clarified: “Well. How could they possibly?”
    So grandma was no senile old fool. She was someone with 50+ years of marriage experience, just trying to pass on what she had learned.

    I wish you both 50+ years of, “Well, how could they possibly?”
